Our Family law team, lead by Elana Hannington, devotes itself to assisting our clients to reach amicable resolutions to their family related matters. Elana, ably assisted by Rebecca Merryweather, has cultivated longstanding relationships with advocates, psychologists, social workers and financial experts to assist our clients and their family members during what can be a difficult process.
Elana and Rebecca are FAMAC (Family Mediators of the Cape) accredited mediators and they are readily available to clients who wish to avoid costly litigation and the acrimony of the divorce process. We help our clients to amicably and collectively resolve their divorce or other disputes through the assistance of our qualified and professional mediators.
While disputes are often part of life, we also seek to bring people together by regulating their marriages in Antenuptial Contacts. Our in-house notary is able to draft, execute and register ANCs specifically tailored to each couple’s needs.
We also provide our clients with the expert advice, which they need to properly manage their separate and joint assets and affairs in anticipation of their impending marriage.
