Mike Wink

It was with great sadness that we shared the passing of Mike Wink in November 2023. Mike was a steadfast, strong and influential presence at Norman, Wink & Stephens for nearly 40 years.

Mike matriculated from Muir College and obtained his BA LLB degree from the University of Cape Town. Mike was admitted as an Attorney in 1979 and as a conveyancer in 1980. He joined Bruce and Godfrey in 1985, where he exclusively practiced property law, until the end of his career.

Mike’s influence extended beyond his general conveyancing practice. He not only attended to property transfers and bond registrations but also took on the responsibility of guiding others in the registration of subdivisions, sectional title schemes, and townships. He also generously shared his expertise with numerous correspondent legal practices.

We remain deeply saddened by the loss of Mike who was well-loved in the office for his keen sense of humour and love of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. His absence is deeply felt, and he is greatly missed.
