Godfrey Norman

Godfrey matriculated from Rondebosch Boys High School and obtained his BA from Stellenbosch University and B Proc degree from the University of South Africa. Godfrey was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary in 1984. He set up Norman, Wink and Stephens with Bruce in 1984, joined the next year by Mike.

Godfrey conducts a commercial and litigation practice acting for individuals as well as small to medium companies involved in inter alia the solar energy, wine and automotive industries as well as the engineering field.

In addition, Godfrey has vast experience in property law, the winding up of estates, creation of inter vivos trusts and the drafting of wills. He leads the conveyancing team with a wealth of knowledge in this area of law, and his excellent working relationship with the Cape Town Deeds Office ensures you are in good hands.

Godfrey’s Notarial practice includes long leases, cession and assignment of leases, notarial mortgage bonds, ships’ protests and Antenuptial Contracts.
